The foundation of the select soccer club ASGFC, the First Kick Foundation, hosted an event to raise money for The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children's Medical Center of Dallas. The event honored and supported fellow soccer player and club member twelve-year-old Christian Graef, who is successfully battling cancer. Ahead of the event, participants gathered pledges and donations based upon the highest number of consecutive soccer juggles they can complete in three tries at the event. The event was a great success. The ASG family raised over $15,000 for Children's Medical Center of Dallas!
Event Details: The event took place on Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at Sole Roll Indoor Soccer Center located at 4435 McEwen Rd, Dallas, Texas 75244. First Kick Foundation First Kick mission statement: A grassroots movement that demonstrates the collective power of individuals to bring about change. First Kick is designed to enhance the lives of children and young adults by offering financial assistance in order for them to participate in soccer at every level. Our dedication and commitment to these children is what drives us to continue to grow and expand. We promise to continue developing even more innovative and critically needed programs to help. As a recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization, First Kick is committed to creating special and lasting memories for the thousands of children positively affected by our unique programs each year.
