USSF National "B" License & National “Y” License. As part of the Dallas coaching community for over 18 years I have been fortunate to work with teams playing in recreational, Plano Premier, Coca Cola Classic, Lake Highlands Classic League, and college. A product of the DFW soccer community, with over 40 years of involvement as player and coach, who has dedicated a great deal of my time to teaching youth athletes the joy of the game.
As a youth player I was a part of some of the first competitive soccer teams to be established in the Dallas/ Ft Worth area as a member of the Texas Longhorn Soccer Club, and was a part of their European Tours as a youth player. Continued to play in college at Golden West in California before – moving on to play professionally in the, USISL and MISL leagues in Texas.
In an effort to give back to the sport during my coaching career I have served as a public speaker for The Sport Source, (publishers of the High School Athletic Guides to College scholarships) that has provided valuable support to the high school athletes that are looking to make the transition to college academics and athletics. A few programs that I am especially proud to have continued involvement with are the NTSSA Olympic Development Program, Town North YMCA soccer and Winning Touch Skills Programs. These programs provide a place for players of various levels to come together and train in an atmosphere without the pressures of recruitment or match results. Instead, to concentrate on the skills needed to develop as a person with players that share common goals and a love for the game.
