ASG National

Dave Dir and Andrew Warner formed ASG in 2002. Their goal is to provide a professionally run management group, which assists clubs in gaining access to the highest level of professionals in the game of soccer in the U.S. A natural progression of this organization was to create new clubs or support existing clubs with the ASG model. The goal is to create an environment, which allows access to shared expereince, best practices, the latest information, personnel, and resources. ASG assists member clubs with everything from management services to coaching, training, personnel, decisions, structure, and administration.

Coach Dir is the former head coach of the Dallas Burn, and former Vice President and Head Coach of the Colorado Foxes. He has been an Assistant Coach with the U-20 Men’s National Team for over 10 years and though five U20 World Cups, scouted for the U.S. Men’s World Cup Squad,was the former Head of Development for Major League Soccer, and served as an analyst and host of the 2002 World Cup regional TV broadcasts. He is currently the head of scouting for the Vancouver Whitecaps in Major League Soccer and Coach Dir the acting Executive Director for the new Andromeda FC in Dallas.

Coach Warner has extensive experience as a professional player, a coach, and the operator of successful soccer business for over twenty years. He currently operates a 17-field soccer facility for the city of Tallahassee Florida. He is one of the few successful executives in soccer facility management and was the former Director of Marketing for Phipps Athletics, President of the Orlando Lions, and served on the World Cup National Organizing Committee. He also serves as a broadcast analyst for NCAA Soccer Telecasts in the Southeast Region.Coach Warner is the current prsident of ASG Florida and Vice president of ASG National

Affiliated Clubs Philosophy

The Club philosophy is to promote an environment that will expose children and adults to the European club atmosphere and the great game of soccer. We do this by creating experience both on and off the playing field that will help people develop relationships as well as a love for the game of soccer. Commitment to excellence at all levels of participation is our goal. We promote good sportsmanship, a positive attitude and demand it of our players, parents, coaches, members, and fans. On the playing field, our goal is to provide a competitive experience, which allows our players to develop to the level of play they desire.

As a back office resourece, our goal is to create a model for DOCs serving as “Owner Operators” to effectivly manage their club and control their own destiny.
